Guest researcher at ARTECHNE project: Omar Olivares

Omar Olivares will join the ARTECHNE project in August for four months as a visiting research fellow.

About the researcher

Currently, Omar Olivares works as a PhD candidate in Art History at the National University of Mexico (UNAM). The subject of his research is the global circulation of scientific visuality in late nineteenth century, specifically on the scientific images produced by a mexican landscape painter named J.M. Velasco.
