Digital Tools for the Analysis of Historical Corpora (workshop)

Whereas students trained in digital humanities often have the tools but not the texts, students of the more “traditional” humanities disciplines who research texts often lack the technical skills to use these tools. This workshop will introduce digital tools that will be taught at a beginner’s level. Participants will learn about n-grams, Stylo, Gephi, eTrap, VVV and other tools and will get hands-on practice to digitally analyze their own historical texts. Participation is free but registration is required. There are only 20 places available.
