Call for proposals: The Paul-Bunge-Preis (Hans-R.-Jenemann-Foundation)

The Paul-Bunge-Preis of the Hans-R.-Jenemann-Foundation is now open for the award next year. The prize is endowed with 7,500 euros and honors studies on the history of scientific instruments. It is awarded for individual work over the past five years or for life’s work. The work can be submitted in German, English or French. Both personal applications and nominations are welcome.

The Foundation’s Advisory Board, supported by the GDCh and the German Bunsen Society for Physical Chemistry, decides on the award of the prize.

The prize will be awarded during the lecture conference of the GDCh Division of History of Chemistry, which will take place in Karlsruhe on March 24th and 25th, 2022.

Submit your application or proposal, including a cover letter, curriculum vitae and work on the history of scientific instruments, by September 30, 2021 using the Online form at www.gdch.de/paulbungepreis.
