Sven Dupré will speak on ‘The Poetics of Failure’ at EMPHASIS seminar, University of London, 9 February

The EMPHASIS seminar focuses on the history of early modern philosophy (broadly construed), and the history of early modern science (including the occult sciences). It is one of the only seminars in London which addresses these themes together. Organisers are dr. Stephen Clucas (Birkbeck, University of London) and dr. Anthony Ossa-Richardson (University of Southampton). On February 9, 2019, Sven Dupré will give a lecture on ‘The Poetics of Failure and the Imperfections of Knowledge’.
