Vacancy: curactor/project manager Eise Eisinga Planetarium & University Museum Groningen

The Planetarium and the University Museum are looking for an enthusiastic curator / project leader in the field of History of Science. Affinity with historical astronomy in the 18th and 19th century is a plus. Tasks are in the field of collection description and access, preservation and management. At the Planetarium, support for the nomination team for the World Heritage procedure is also of great importance. At the University Museum, drawing up a plan for digitizing and making an important part of the collection available is the most important task.

It concerns a position for 36 hours a week, you will be appointed at the Planetarium. Via a secondment, 50% will be filled in at the University Museum. This combined appointment has roughly three main tasks:

1. Collection description and access (both institutions);

2. Support the nomination team World Heritage (Planetarium);

3. Project description and implementation of digitization (University Museum).
