The Technical Art History Colloquium is organised by Sven Dupré (Utrecht University and University of Amsterdam, PI ERC ARTECHNE), Arjan de Koomen (University of Amsterdam, Coordinator MA Technical Art History), and Abbie Vandivere (University of Amsterdam, Coordinator MA Technical Art History & Paintings Conservator, Mauritshuis, The Hague). Monthly meetings take place on Thursdays, usually in Utrecht and Amsterdam. In the first edition of 2017, the MA students from the TAH course at the University of Amsterdam will make short presentations about the ‘Field Work’ projects that they carried out in different institutions: the Rijksmuseum, Mauritshuis, Frans Hals Museum, Van Gogh Museum, and Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar. The 10-minute presentations will be followed by a discussion.

At 16:00, the colloquium will be followed by an information session about the Technical Art History MA course at the UvA, which will be accepting students for the 2017 academic year.
